Cost Engineer/Project Administrator

Blue Projects, a leading consulting firm specializing in Engineering and Project Management solutions for the industrial sector, seeks a Cost Engineer/Project Administrator for our Almaty region, Ili district office in Kazakhstan.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in industrial/building projects
  • University degree, preferably in Engineering
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project;
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in Kazakh and English

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenses
  • Develop cash flow analysis
  • Compile and update daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with clients as needed
  • Prepare project closing reports and draft necessary documentation
  • Monitor budget adherence in line with business plans
  • Provide project reporting data to clients
  • Maintain and update internal platforms daily
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and appointments
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and correspondence
  • Support procurement activities, such as obtaining quotes and managing vendor relationships
