Position Overview

Blue Projects is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Control Specialist with expertise in mechanical systems for an upcoming project in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and compliance of mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and utilities, to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and project managers, to coordinate technical activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Review and evaluate mechanical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to identify and address any technical issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and evaluate construction progress, identifying potential risks or deviations from plans and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Perform quality assurance audits and tests on mechanical systems, ensuring proper installation, functionality, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing any technical inquiries or challenges that may arise during the project.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Must have: CERTIFICATE of an expert carrying out expert work and engineering services in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities. By specialization: For objects of the first level of responsibility – in terms of technological equipment
  • Proven experience in technical control or quality assurance of mechanical systems, preferably in the FMCG industry or similar industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including HVAC, piping, and utilities design and installation.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing mechanical systems in industrial projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages may be advantageous.
