Electrical Project Manager

Blue Projects is seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead projects in Hungary. Current Projects include solar power installations with connections to local electrical grid, industrial site renovation projects, industrial brownfield installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination with local authorities, energy providers, and design companies
  • Ensure legal compliance for electrical installation.
  • Leading project progress meetings, reporting key findings and recommendations.
  • Conducting contractor progress meetings.
  • Engaging with and coordinating internal and external resources and ensuring project parameters are kept during preparation and during execution.
  • Review and take ownership of project budget and reporting expenses.
  • Manage Project Budget and schedule control and compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage installation and other service providers, conduct project meetings, and provide weekly progress reports.
  • Assist in the procurement process through input to negotiations and terms of contracts on technical matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation of solar systems for the industry.
  • Familiarity with Power Purchasing Agreement related projects
  • Reporting budget and schedule through Office 365 systems, SAP, and other relevant tools.
  • Open to relocating to different parts of the Hungary for varying durations to accommodate project needs.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
  • Fluent in Hungarian language
  • Proficiency in English, preferably at a C1 level (advanced)
  • On-Site Presence: Minimum on-site presence expectation is 3 times a week, with 5 times preferred, in South-East Hungary.
