Electrical, Automation and Instrumentation Site Engineer, Poland (Wroclaw) – with Project Relocation Near Lodz

We are seeking a motivated Electrical, Automation and Instrumentation Site Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland, with the flexibility to relocate for project purposes near Lodz.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a related field (e.g., Control and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering)
- Willingness to relocate within Poland for project-based assignments
- 3+ years of relevant experience in developing and commissioning process control applications
- Demonstrated expertise in DCS/PLC architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of instrumentation, measurements, analyzers, and control valve operations
- Hands-on experience with process controls equipment (PLCs, DCSs, HMIs, SCADA systems, SQL databases, Network Hubs) and related communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Profibus, Ethernet IP)
- Proficiency in writing software test plans, user requirement specifications, and functional design documents
- Advanced English language skills
- Strong technical communication abilities
- Familiarity with automation and PLC programming codes (IEC 61131)
- Fundamental understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) and High Hazard Processes
- Knowledge of machine PLCs to database systems communication (e.g., ERP integration, MES/IT systems)
- Readiness for temporary relocation to project sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure safety compliance with design standards and site regulations for electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality and compliance with national and international standards
- Identify, register, address, and follow up on non-conformities and snag items
- Contribute to or create checklists for electrical systems, control systems, and automation verification
- Supervise construction and manage contractors on-site
- Prepare and present progress reports on site construction, milestones, risks, and cross-discipline interfaces
- Conduct contractor meetings and document minutes
- Support contractors with on-site problem-solving, employing a hands-on approach
- Facilitate multidisciplinary interactions and manage interfaces at the construction site
- Apply best practices for field electrical and control system installations
