Technical Project manager Lead
The project manager, manages all aspects of projects from start to finish ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, scope and according to all technical Blue Projects standards and processes.
The internal key stakeholders to collaborate with are global engineering, quality and safety functions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Engineering Design and Documentation:
- Lead the development of engineering designs, specifications, process flows, P&ID’s and drawings.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including technical drawings, project manuals, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal resources, external engineering companies or consultants as needed.
- Establishes RFQ’s for procurement of all equipment and manages the procurement activities, tenders in scope, overall mechanical installation, utility and civil packages.
- Safeguards the Engineering and QA standards during the project design phase.
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders.
- Establishes the optimum Detailed Time Schedule (DTS) and financial follow-up data, to meet the required project
- objectives.
- Follow up on deliveries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects align with organizational objectives and industry, legal regulations.
Quality and SHE Compliance:
- Implement and adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance for all SHE (safety, health, environmental) topics
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project updates and progress to the project portfolio manager. Prepares the info for the steerco
- meetings.
- Collaborate with various departments to address concerns, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with
- organizational goals.
- Conduct regular project meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Exchanges actively information with peers
Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Manages the project execution. Remains within the agreed timeline and budget.
- Ensures adherence to the local and highest safety rules, during the project execution.
- Manages all project on-site activities and resources, internal and external.
- Executes all project related activities in close agreement and cooperation with site management.
- Monitor project milestones and provide regular status reports to the project portfolio manager.
EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in an engineering environment, process industry (food and beverages)
- Degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical or related field).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical skills to understand and develop all core processes and disciplines
- 2D CAD proficient, 3D CAD knowledgeable
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Strong can do attitude and problem solving skills
- Project management including leadership of cross functional teams
- Basic contractor management skills
