Blue Projects has recently been assigned by the German cleaning technology manufacturer Kärcher to provide design review, tender support and project management services at its factory in Curtea de Arges, Romania. The project involves refurbishing the 17,000 m2 production, warehouse and administration building, and is scheduled for completion in Q2 2019.

With global operations and subsidiaries in 60 countries, Kärcher is well-known for its cleaning equipment and resource-saving cleaning systems. The high-pressure washers that it manufactures were even used to clean the sculptures on Mount Rushmore.

Kärcher opened its first factory in Curtea de Arges in 2016, following a 20-million EUR greenfield investment and is currently in the process of increasing its production capacity.
