Since February 2018, Blue Projects has been working for stonewool manufacturer ROCKWOOL, providing tender support and project and construction management for their new factory in Romania. With an initial investment of 50 million euro, the factory has a built area of 13,000 sqm, on a 30 ha plot located in Aricestii Rahtivani, near Ploiesti. It is expected that, after completion and trial operation in 2019, the facility will create 450 jobs in production and logistics for the local community. Currently, the works are 90% completed.

One of the world’s largest producers of insulation materials, the Danish group ROCKWOOL is currently represented in 38 countries and operates 28 factories, with the one in Romania being the latest. Blue Projects is proud to have them as a client and to contribute to an important investment for the local economy.
