Junior Project Manager

In order to advance our strategic business expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join our team in Hungary.

The incoming team member will operate within the Project Management Department, responsible for managing project budgets, planning, and supervising installations. Additionally, the role entails cultivating and overseeing relationships with the client’s team and subcontractors.

How the ideal candidate would be?

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on industrial projects and brownfield developments.
  • Willingness to relocate to various project sites within Hungary for different durations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment installation and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian languages.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Collaborate with the project team to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with external vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with local authorities to obtain permits and licenses necessary for project execution.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services required for project implementation.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of industrial equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or obstacles, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management, providing updates on project status, budget, and key milestones.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
