The commissioning process of Carlsberg’s new factory near Hamburg has started, with the first beer bottles rolling out earlier today. The video, made by one of our team members on site, shows the first batch of bottles ready for packaging.

Blue Projects was appointed in 2017 to provide project management, construction management and commissioning support services for a new Carlsberg factory in Heykenaukamp, near Hamburg. Initially located in the city’s Altona borough, the factory was moved to a new location, to satisfy an increased production demand of approximately 1 million hl/year. Named Braveheart, the new project has a total footprint of 56,900 sqm and a built area of 24,500 sqm.
