Kellogg’s has officially started construction on a new manufacturing line at their Pringles factory in Kutno, Poland, with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by Dave Lawlor – President Kellogg Europe, Bruce Edwards – Vice President EMEA Snacks Supply Chain, and city officials.

Together with Kellogg’s, Blue Projects have delivered the existing three Pringles lines in Kutno in the past 5 years, providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services. Many thanks to Kellogg’s for continuing with Blue Projects as EPCM services provider throughout the project cycle from permitting, civil & technological design, procurement and construction management until commissioning for this expansion.

The new Pringles line represents a €110 million investment and will be housed in a 21,000 m2 building. After its installation, the factory’s production capacity will increase by 34%, to approximately 60,000 tones of Pringles per year. The new line is expected to be operational by May 2021.

“We are very proud to be part of this project as a long-term partner for Kellogg’s in Poland, since 2013 when the first Pringles line project commenced”, stated Umut Demircan, Managing Partner of Blue Projects.

Kutno Pringles Factory is Kellogg’s second-largest European plant and has had a positive impact on the region, creating more than 440 skilled roles. This investment will bring a further 100 new roles to the locality.
