1. How long have you worked with us?
Since 2013, I have been working at Blue Projects.
2. How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Blue Projects?
I am an energetic and positive person; I do feel very well and always curious and ready to see what a new day can bring. There is a lot of teamwork in my job, and I enjoy being challenged every day whenever I meet a client that needs a fresh new direction.
3. Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Blue Projects look like?
My role started at Blue Projects as a Contract Manager Assistant, continued as a Contract Manager and for 1 year and ½ besides the Contract Manager role I am also in charge of the administrative part of Blue Projects Belgium office plus assisting Dave Van Roeyen, the new Country Lead Belgium.
4. What makes you want to stay at our business?
I like the diversity of projects and clients, who have different approaches and requirements for each project, which is a challenge. Also, the dynamics of Blue Projects teams and their leaders, they are very supportive of what we do, and everyone here is very friendly and nice as well.
Blue Projects leadership fosters a culture rich in opportunities and a sense of belonging to truly “Get the future you want.” With a keen focus on people, at Blue Projects we break down traditional barriers that work is just a job or paycheck.
5. What do you love about being a Contract Manager?
I like when a new project starts with a new team, sometimes with a new Client and we do the effort to work as a Team and deliver as per the Client expectation.
6. What advice would you give, after 10 years, to someone joining Blue Projects?
It is significant to learn the business and being good with commitment to strive for excellence on an assignment. However, regardless of where you are in your career, what matters is connecting with others!
Be open to learning new things, be curious and also get out of their comfort zone and you will succeed.
7. What was the most memorable moment in your 10 years journey at Blue Projects?
One of the memorable moments I remember happened when I joined the company in 2013. I was sent straight to Kellogg’s site in Kutno, Poland and met the Blue Projects team, with whom I worked hard on a project, that was the first project in Blue Projects for me. We had fun, but we also faced challenges.
8. Tell us about a recent project you worked on or a nice encounter you had with a coworker.
I cannot point only one, I like the Belgium team of which I am part for 4 years now. I look forward to seeing my teammates, as they are some of the most supportive people I have ever worked with.
10. How does BP empower you to master your skills as a Contract Manager?
Providing me with the necessary information and help to develop my skills and offering resources and unique responsibilities to advance my career. I have been making an active effort with Blue Projects’ support to join projects that align with what I want in my future, either with where I see myself growing personally, technically, or otherwise.
11. What do you love about the way of working at Blue Projects?
I like the procedures in place, but also the freedom to adapt to new situations and challenges when facing a new projects. There is a significant opportunity for growth, both technically and personally.
