Overview

Blue Projects was appointed by the German hypermarket chain Kaufland to provide design review and project management for one of the first stores opened in Chisinau, Moldova.

The store is located in Ciocana district, on Mircea cel Batran street, and features a mix of commercial spaces outside the hypermarket area, including restaurants, tobacco shops and pharmacies. It uses an intelligent eco-friendly heating system that reuses heat. For the first time in Moldova, recycling bins for plastic and aluminium will be available at Kaufland stores.

Blue Projects is proud to have assisted Kaufland in opening one of their first stores, in a new market. Our teams are also engaged in another Kaufland project in Moldova, which was delivered in 2020.
